    The self-extracting executable file has been removed as of 10/21/03. The allele code lists will no longer be available for download in this format. Please mail new-allelecodes@nmdp.org with any questions or concerns regarding this change.

To import this text file into Excel:

  1. Open Excel. Open the text file "alpha.txt".
  2. Choose "delimited" as the file type.
  3. Choose "tabs" as the delimiter.
  4. There are four columns. It is very important to select each one and set the column data format to text.
  5. Change the font, column width and page size to accommodate the text.
  6. Should you export this file from Excel (e.g., to a database), please note that the first row will be a header and may be discarded.
